Margot Yale is an assistant district attorney living in Manhattan.
History[]
Margot and her husband, Brendan, frequently see the gargoyles in and around Manhattan many times. The first time Margot encountered a gargoyle was when Goliath saved her and her husband from three muggers, but also scared off Margot and Brendan.[2] Later, while battling Fox, transformed into a werewolf by the magical Eye of Odin, Goliath leapt onto the hood of her car.[3] The Trio and Goliath rescued Margot and Brendan from terrorists holding the couple hostage, but again, the couple was fearful of the monstrous gargoyles.[4] In Loch Ness, Margot and her husband were on a cruise ship, and narrowly missed seeing the Loch Ness Monster and the Avalon Travelers.[5]
After the Manhattan clan was revealed to the world, Margot was appointed to the Gargoyle Task Force as an advisor.[6] She also appeared on a debate hosted by Nightwatch about the "gargoyle problem," wherein she stated that the gargoyles were a menace to society.[7]
She and Brendan appeared at Xanatos' Halloween Masque, where she was dressed as a flapper. She berated Brendan for failing to dress as Valentino; he had dressed instead as a gargoyle. Upon seeing Broadway, Angela, dressed as the Scarecrow and Dorothy from Wizard of Oz and mistaking Lexington for a post-modern Tin-Man, she complimented his costume.[8]
