Katana is a female gargoyle, mate to Brooklyn, and new addition to the Manhattan Clan.
History[]
Katana joined the Manhattan Clan at the conclusion of Brooklyn's temporal journey. Shortly after her arrival, Elisa Maza arrived with news of Wolf, Hyena, and Jackal wreaking havoc in Times Square. She departed with the rest of the clan to protect Manhattan.[1]
Characteristics[]
Katana is an overprotective mother. She is very protective of her egg, becoming somewhat defensive when Angela asked to hold it. She wore a backpack and took the egg with her at all times, including into battle. After settling into her new home, the egg was moved to the rookery where it was guarded by Bronx and Fu-Dog. She further displays this overprotective nature towards her son Nashville, by refusing to let him go trick r treating and later sending Bronx and Fu-Dog to guard over him.[2]
As a non-native English speaker, she originally thought Egwardo had some significance in English, but when she learned from her mate it was a joke he made up she was not at all pleased. She is often annoyed by her mate's sarcasm but still loves him dearly.
Katana was already known by that name when she first met Brooklyn.
