Guatemala is a country in Central America that served as a stop during the Avalon World Tour.
History[]
Chac Ixchel has been home to a clan of gargoyles for ages, but around 1996, the Mayan Clan was devastated by the loss of all but four of its members. The surviving four members were saved by the Mayan Sun Amulet, a magical artifact that allows four pendant-bearers to remain flesh during the day. The survivors were visited by the Avalon Travelers, who helped the clan realize what was worth protecting, and helped save them from the machinations of Jackal and Hyena, under the employ of Preston Vogel and Cyberbiotics. Two of its members, Turquesa and Jade, joined the travelers briefly to plant some rare tropical plants on Avalon.[1]
