History

In the 1920s, Dominic Dracon started the crime family with his partner Mace Malone. Following a jewel heist, Malone disappeared along with the diamonds. Dominic search for years for the diamonds until he bought Malone's office, turned it into a museum and posed as G. F. Benton. The crime family came under his son, Anthony's control. Eventually, Anthony's son, Tony and his crew took charge of the family. One of his operations involved stealing a shipment of 322 "non-projectile weapon prototypes" from Xanatos Enterprises. Tony encountered hostility from Detective Elisa Maza, who knew that he stole the prototypes despite the lack of evidence. Maza warned Tony that he would slip up. Despite that, Tony told Glasses to sell the "merchandise". Tony and his crew were suspected of shooting Maza in her Loft. Despite the police's suspicions decided to meet with a buyer for all the weapons.

During this time, Broadway found about Glasses' weapon sales at Canal street near the docks. Tony and his crew were confronted by Goliath, who believed Tony shot Maza. However, Broadway confessed that he was the one who shot Maza by accident and Goliath drops Tony. As the buyer, , arrived to re-acquire the weapons. However, Tony and his crew sold at least 37 of the weapons before the meeting. To ensure the weapons would not fall into wrong hands, Goliath destroyed them and left one with Tony and his crew tied up so they would held accountable for weapon theft. Tony and his men were arrested.

Tony was able to get out of prison. He helped his grandfather, Dominic, search for the diamonds he and Malone stole in the 1920s. However, he was arrested once again by Maza, her partner Matt Bluestone, and Broadway. Tony then started a protection racket with "help" from Maza. However, Maza was able to arrest him in a sting operation. Tony was sent to prison. However, he was able to maintain control of the family through glasses and his crew operated a chop shop. However, the family entered a gang war with Tomas Brod's gang. After Brod's gang destroyed the chop shop, Dracon destroyed Brod's favorite restaurant. Dracon came under attack by Brod when he decided to eliminate Dracon. However, the Gargoyles stopped Brod and Brod was locked up with Tony in his cell.

The family then came under Tony's sister, Toni Dracon. She and her family's lawyers were able to get Dominic out of Bellevue Hospital due to him suffering from dementia.
