The Gargoyles are tricked while attempting to rescue a child in a partially built building. Angela and Bronx are too late to save the rest of the clan as the sun comes up. Captured, Angela and Bronx are taken by the authorities to be properly confined. However, the Quarrymen attack the train transporting them with the intent of crashing it into a ravine, regardless of the lives of the human passengers. Surprisingly, the clan has survived; Xanatos foresaw the Quarrymen's trap and built his own into it. With the Quarrymen stopped, the Gargoyles are interviewed by a grateful reporter.
